A Case Report on Unusual Tree-Branching Pattern of Gall Stone in Man

Abstract
|

|
The author experienced unusual pattern of gall stone like blanches of a tree. The patient was 56 years old male and had 40 years history of gall stone. Common duct exploration was carried out but is was impossible to remove the gall stone completely. And it was thought to be caused by a deep invasion of the lesions. Though postoperative cholangiography could find numerous residual stones, the patient was in good condition for one and half year when the patient died because of accident. Photo of reassembled gall stone is presented.
